Danielle Marchant, a member of JGSM, was awarded by the Wenatchee Business Journal the 2014 Readers' Choice Award for "Best Legal Advisor". This is the second year in a row that JGSM has had an attorney honored with this prestigious award. Steve Smith, also a member of JGSM, was awarded the distinction in 2013.
On July 10, 2013, Danielle Marchant, a member at JGSM, attended an Employment Law Seminar that focused on discrimination and harassment in the workplace. Danielle serves as legal counsel for employees and employers in North Central Washington that have employment law issues.
Phil Johnson attended the 2013 School Law Seminar of the Counsel of School Attorneys for the National School Board Association in San Diego on April 11-13, 2013.
Seminar presentations included the following subject areas: Sexual harassment, School Board authority, teacher evaluations, open meetings and public records, and ethics of emails and social media.
Phil has served as general counsel of Wenatchee School District since 1985.

Michael Bradford has joined JGSM as an Associate Attorney. He is currently assigned to prosecute non-felony cases on behalf of the City of Wenatchee as an appointed Assistant City Attorney. He previously worked as an intern for the City of Spokane Prosecutor's Office handling infraction cases and criminal arraignments. Most recently, Mike was an Associate Attorney at the Speidel Law Firm. He graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law, magna cum laude, with a Juris Doctor degree in May 2010, and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Brigham Young University in 2005. Mike is a member of the Chelan-Douglas County Bar Association and a member of the Washington State Bar Association.
